Since its opening on May 1, 1983, 20,000 outpatients and 900 inpatients have visited the Urology department of Daegu Catholic University Medical Center, and 700 patients have undergone surgery.
Currently, four urologists are doing their best to provide quality medical care based on their abundant clinical experience and professional knowledge. The Urology department of Daegu Catholic University Medical Center deals with all the diseases of the urinary tract that makes and excretes male and female urine, including kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra. It also covers all illnesses related to men's reproduction system, including testicles, prostate, and penis.
We are currently treating patients in a variety of specialized clinics and specialized fields, including urological tumors, men's medicine, pediatric urology, urinary disorders and women's urology, and urinary stones. In addition to their research efforts, each professor develops various educational programs and helps patients recover very quickly.
The Department of Urology of Daegu Catholic University Medical Center has 30 beds in the urology ward (A building6F). It has equipment such as an external shock wave crusher, ergo dynamic examiner, abdominal and transrectal ultrasound examiner, flexible cystoscope, penis erection checker, and urinary incontinence in the urology outpatient clinic (B building 2F) to treat patients.
