Greeting

I extend my prayers that the Lord’s love and grace be with everyone who cherishes and supports Daegu Catholic University Medical Center.

Since its opening in 1980, Daegu Catholic University Medical Center has grown rapidly over a short period of 46 years, keeping pace with the fast-changing medical environment.

Starting with a single building, the Raphael Hall, the hospital has expanded to include Stella Hall and Teresa Hall, growing into an 838-bed facility. We are providing top-tier medical services by introducing state-of-the-art medical equipment, including the TruBeam radiation therapy system, DaVinci Xi, Discovery IQ, Signa Architect 3.0T MRI, Discovery RT, VitalBeam, and Allura Clarity FD10.

  • Beginning with its initial designation as a tertiary hospital by the Ministry of Health and Welfare in 2012 (1st period), Daegu Catholic University Medical Center has recently achieved consecutive designations up to the 5th period. In addition,
  • the hospital entered Newsweek’s "World’s Best Hospitals - Top 250" for the first time in 2023, and climbed 8 spots in 2024 to secure its position in the Top 250 once again—making it the only medical institution located outside the capital area among the 17 Korean hospitals selected.
  • We have consistently received Grade 1 ratings in various quality assessments conducted by the Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service. Notably, we received outstanding scores in the "Patient Experience Assessment" and achieved Grade 1 as a tertiary hospital for consecutive terms, demonstrating our commitment to patient-centered healthcare.

All of these achievements made by Daegu Catholic University Medical Center were possible thanks to the love and support of our patients and their families. Based on your trust, we will continue to strive to deliver the highest quality medical services in the best possible care environment.

Thank you.
