Since opening in 1980, the Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine of Daegu Catholic University Hospital has been providing medical services to thousands of children every year. Currently, eight specialists, ten medical residents, and dozens of nurses are striving for the best care.
The Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine of Daegu Catholic University Medical Center targets children and adolescents aged 0 to 17, with subdivisions of neonatal, pediatric allergic asthma, pediatric respiratory immunity, growth, and development, pediatric endocrinology, pediatric hemato-oncology, pediatric infectious diseases, pediatric gastrointestinal nutrition, pediatric nephrology, pediatric neurology, pediatric cardiology, etc. Also, we operate a variety of clinics, and each clinic provides individual and professional care to patients.
We have an outpatient, pediatric ward, neonatal intensive care unit, and vaccination room.
In particular, the Growth and Development Clinic provides development, psychological examinations, and infants' examinations, safety management, and nutritional counseling for children.
