Greetings
The Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine operates a central operating room and a Pain Clinic. It is also responsible for a pain-free delivery, respiratory management of critical patients, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and intensive care. In particular, in line with specialized and modernized surgical techniques, our department subdivides the anesthesia care field into brain anesthesia, cardiopulmonary anesthesia, obstetrics anesthesia, pediatric anesthesia, and organ transplantation, which is organized by the professor in charge.
Besides, in our Pain Clinic, we provide outpatient treatment, chronic pain treatment, post-operative pain management, and inpatient pain treatment, and we are doing our best to relieve the pain of cancer patients.
Our department, which is presenting research presentations and posters at the annual conferences of the Anesthesiology Society and Pain Society Conference in Korea and abroad, will continue to focus on research and continue to strive not only to develop the academic community but also to help patients with surgical anesthesia and pain.
