When an abnormality occurs in the nervous system, the following symptoms will appear: the symptoms of unconsciousness as mental confusion or speech disorder; motor paralysis such as hemiplegia or lower extremities paralysis; headaches and neuralgia; sensory impairment such as numbness in hands and feet, dullness in senses or rather becoming sensitive; dyskinesia in which limbs are shaking or distorted or moved spontaneously; visual impairment such as double appearance of an object or impaired vision; difficulty swallowing food or frequent phlegm;pronunciation and speech disorders; mouth turning to one side; dizziness or constantly hearing sounds in your ears; symptoms that make it difficult to go up and down the stairs or lift your arms; gait abnormalities such as staggering in a drunken shape when walking, walking while dragging your feet, or walking unnaturally; intermittent loss of strength in the whole body and lethargy; amnesia, dementia, intelligence disorder, developmental and behavioral disorder symptoms, epileptic seizure, etc.
The Department of Neurology ofDaegu Catholic University Medical Center has excellent faculty, laboratory, outpatient, and hospitalization staff with rich clinical experience and medical knowledge,advanced equipment such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Positron Emission Tomography (PET), and Computed Tomography (CT) ), Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT), electromyography, electroencephalography, sleep polysomnography, neuropsychology, dizziness testing, video-electroencephalographic monitoring, autonomic nerve function testing, and cerebral blood flow testing. We are working on patient care with the mindset of thinking about their pain first.
