Department of Nephrology (T. 650-4031)
Nephrology is a branch of internal medicine that deals with kidney diseases. The main targets are pyelonephritis, glomerulonephritis, acute, chronic renal failure, and related complications (hypertension, anemia, electrolyte abnormality, etc.), symptoms such as hematuria, proteinuria, and edema, etc.In the Department of Nephrology of Daegu Catholic University Medical Center, medical staff, including two professors with abundant clinical experience and expert knowledge, provides good quality care to patients with renal disease.In the Kidney Center, all treatments such as kidney transplantation, peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis are performing for patients with chronic renal failure, and various dialysis treatments for patients with a high risk of acute drug poisoning or hemodialysis.
The hemodialysis room, located within the Kidney Center of Daegu Catholic University Medical Center, is working with specialized nurses to provide differentiated dialysis treatment for each dialysis patient. We expand the distance between dialysis beds in ample space to enable comfortable dialysis treatment.
Our medical staff working at the Department of Nephrology of Daegu Catholic University Medical Center will do more research and efforts to provide the best care to patients suffering from kidney diseases.
